Past Intern Expierence
Hear from our past interns about their experiences!
Manda Cacy2016 Intern"My summers spent at Notre Maison have impacted me immensely. The Lord is so alive in the kids, and I’m constantly amazed at how evidently I see His beauty there on a daily basis. I am incredibly honored to know these precious children, and to have received the love they so freely give."
Skylar Singer
2016 Intern
"I first came to Gertrude's with a small group in June of 2015, and it forever changed my life. My world views were shattered, and after being on the fence with other options, I decided then to dedicate my life to non-profit work. In July 2016 I returned to Notre Maison to serve as an intern where I helped with day to day activities, physical therapy, and advised on Notre Maison's advertising and web design. Working with these children who have little belongings, no permanent home, and gracious, beautiful smiles lit a spark in my heart that can only be ignited by their contagious laughter. I cannot wait for the day I get to return once again to my Haitian home away from home."

2017 Intern
"This is a very special place filled with faith, love, and hope. I think about the children and people of Notre Maison/St.Joes Orphanage everyday since I have been home. I left Haiti discovering how beautiful the country and people are. I will never forget the opportunities and experiences that I had in Haiti and esprcially working with the children of Notre Maison/St.Joes"
